Program

The Summer School will take place in Stockholm, Sweden, June 28th – July 3rd 2026. Check the location page for more details.

We will start on Sunday 28th with a casual dinner and have a full program until Friday 3rd noon, including 25 talks, time to present your posters and work, visit to Karolinska University Hospital, social activities and free time.

The language of the school is English.

Evening Boat Tour and Dinner in the Stockholm Archipelago

Experience Stockholm from the water with an evening boat tour through the archipelago, a landscape of countless islands, quiet bays, and open sea views. Relax on board as you glide past shoreline villages and nature close to the city. The cruise is followed by a dinner at a waterfront location, where you can enjoy local flavors in a calm and scenic setting. It’s a chance to unwind, take in the Nordic light, and spend a pleasant evening together by the sea.

Guided Walking Tour and Dinner in Historic Gamla Stan (Old Town)

Discover Stockholm’s historic heart with a guided walking tour through Gamla Stan, known for its narrow cobblestone streets, colorful facades, and centuries-old squares. As you stroll past landmarks and hidden courtyards, you’ll get a sense of the city’s past in an intimate, walkable setting. After the tour, enjoy a relaxed dinner at a local restaurant in the Old Town, where you can continue the conversation and soak up the atmosphere of this charming neighborhood.
